Father Andrew James

Fr Andrew James completed degrees in Law and Economics at Sydney University in 1998 and worked in the Australian Taxation Office from 1999 to 2001, completing a Master’s degree in Taxation at UNSW before entering the seminary in 2002.

After years of study at the Catholic Institute of Sydney, the Gregorian University in Rome and the John Paul II Institute for Marriage and Family in Rome, Fr Andrew completed his Doctorate in Theology in 2020 at the John Paul II Institute and is currently Sessional Lecturer at the Catholic Institute of Sydney.

In addition to St Paul of the Cross, Fr Andrew has served in the Archdiocese of Sydney Parishes of St Joseph’s Moorebank and St Christopher’s Holsworthy, and was the Rector of Domus Australia in Rome from 2013-2015.
